Position: Full-Time Powerline Technician Apprenticeships
Location: Lower Sackville South

Embark on a full-time apprenticeship with Nova Scotia Power as a Powerline Technician in Sackville, NS. Build vital skills in line maintenance and customer service while ensuring workplace safety.

In this role, you will be part of a hands-on training program designed to develop both technical and practical skills necessary for becoming a qualified technician. You’ll participate in over 8,000 hours of training and be responsible for adhering to safety protocols while working in diverse environments throughout Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete theoretical and practical apprenticeship components

• Follow Occupational Health and Safety standards strictly

• Participate in competency and regulatory training

• Take responsibility for personal and coworker safety

• Rotate between locations as required during apprenticeship

Requirements:

• Minimum educational requirement is grade 12

• Completion of relevant college programs preferred

• Strong adaptability and problem-solving abilities

• Clean, valid driver’s license necessary

• Physical capability to perform necessary tasks
