Position Summary

We are seeking an Junior Carpenter to join our team and assist with a variety of residential construction projects. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in carpentry while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will support daily job site activities, develop technical skills, and contribute to projects ranging from renovations to new builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general carpentry tasks on residential job sites
• Support project setup, material handling, and site organization
• Follow direction from lead carpenters and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to safety standards and local building requirements
• Use and care for tools and equipment properly

Qualifications

• Some experience in construction or remodeling is an asset, but not required
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a team setting
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Basic understanding of job site safety practices
• Valid driver's license with a clean record preferred
• Access to dependable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position
• Hourly pay: $19.00 - $21.50, depending on experience
• Paid time off including vacation and holidays
