Position: Experienced Substation Electrician Wanted
Location: Pond Inlet

In this role, you will lead and participate in the construction of essential electrical systems, directly impacting the stability and reliability of power delivery. Your commitment to safety and problem-solving will ensure that all work aligns with the latest OESC regulations and project requirements. Attention to detail is crucial as you interpret electrical diagrams for effective execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in electrical construction activities

• Oversee installation of transformers and associated equipment

• Manage cable installation for electrical distribution

• Accurately terminate high-voltage cables in compliance

• Document and maintain records of all construction efforts

Requirements:

• High school diploma and relevant post-secondary education

• 309A Electrical License from Ontario College of Trades

• 5-10 years of trade experience in electrical fields

• Strong knowledge of medium and high-voltage systems

• Excellent detail orientation and problem-solving capabilities
