Position: Field Technician for Underground Mining Equipment Maintenance

Join the forefront of mining technology as a Field Technician for underground equipment maintenance. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and training while ensuring safety compliance in a 14-14 rotational schedule.

In this hands-on position, you will be pivotal in maintaining heavy machinery used in underground mining. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures, conducting equipment inspections, and overseeing the commissioning of new assets. A minimum of five years' experience in the mining industry is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain mining equipment for compliance

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems

• Verify functionality of repairs conducted

• Facilitate new equipment training and implementation

• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and inspections

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent experience in a technical field

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in mining equipment

• Proficiency in English;
French is an advantage

• Strong investigative and problem-solving abilities

• Valid driving permit and adaptable to travel
