Experienced Electrician Mining

Position: Experienced Electrician for Mining Role
Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

NACG is hiring skilled Electricians for Suncor Base Mine, offering competitive pay at $68.35/hr plus a $10/hr Living Out Allowance on a 14/14 shift schedule.

This position is ideal for certified journeyperson electricians with mining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and maintaining large electric hauling equipment, following strict safety protocols. Bussing from Fort McMurray is provided, and benefits come into effect after 400 hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on electric haul trucks

• Maintain shovels and other electric mining equipment

• Perform field maintenance and ensure compliance with safety

• Document all repairs and maintenance completed

• Work independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Journeyperson (Red Seal or Alberta) Electrician certification

• Experience with electric haulage systems required

• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Relevant safety certifications: CSO, Silica Awareness, and others

• Capability to pass drug/alcohol and fitness evaluations
