This skilled role requires significant experience in electrical construction and termination. The Substation Electrician must effectively manage the installation, commissioning, and safety of medium and high voltage systems at construction sites.

Your role directly impacts electrical infrastructure performance, requiring attention to detail and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the construction of medium/high voltage systems

• Oversee installation of transformers and switch gear

• Handle cable installations for distribution systems

• Terminate cables ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Interpret electrical blueprints for planning and execution

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in electrical construction

• Valid 309A Electrical License required

• Expertise with Ontario Electrical Safety Code

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Willingness to travel to job sites
