Location: Tuktoyaktuk
Become a Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Duty Trucks, working full-time in person. This role involves diagnosing and maintaining a fleet of diesel vehicles by applying your mechanical skills.
In this permanent position, you will troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment crucial for fleet operations. The role requires adjusting and replacing parts using tools while testing equipment to maintain high performance standards. A safety-first mindset and the ability to work in fast-paced conditions are vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diesel equipment and trucks
• Maintain fleet performance through effective repairs
• Adjust and replace faulty parts as needed
• Test equipment for performance standards
• Uphold safety and efficient working conditions
Requirements:
• Good work attitude with a learning mindset
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Required personal tools and steel-toed boots
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• Willing to work overtime as needed
