Position: HEO Technician for Mount Milligan Mine
Location: Haines Junction

Join Centerra Gold’s Mount Milligan Mine as a Technician, HEO, operating heavy equipment in a camp-based environment. With a rotation of 7 days on, 7 days off, enjoy 12-hour shifts focusing on safety and productivity.

This role requires hands-on operation of various heavy machinery, including haul trucks and excavators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will be pivotal in achieving production targets while contributing to environmental stewardship and teamwork among your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment like dozers, graders, and haul trucks

• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections on machinery

• Identify and report mechanical issues to supervisors

• Participate in safety programs and risk mitigation activities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate equipment performance

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with heavy equipment

• Commercial driver’s license, Class 5 required

• Familiarity with mine site traffic and operational conditions

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards

• Ability to work a 7 on, 7 off rotation effectively
