As a Powerline Technician, you will engage in maintaining and constructing overhead power lines, ensuring continued electricity supply. Your work involves effective supervision of independent contractors and managing system inspections. In addition, your leadership role includes guiding apprentices and developing their skills through hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspect power lines and substations

• Install and manage street lighting systems

• Supervise compliance of contracted labor

• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults effectively

• Conduct detailed system inspections and documentation

Requirements:

• Journeyman Powerline Technician Certificate required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• First Aid Certificate is mandatory

• Valid Class 5 vehicle operator’s license

• Experience in live line techniques preferred
