This position involves assisting senior crew members in functions such as assembling and repositioning drill rigs, monitoring drilling equipment, and maintaining solid separation systems. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in drilling roles, particularly as Motorman or Derrick Hand, and demonstrate mechanical understanding of relevant equipment. The physically demanding nature of the job requires readiness for shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor drill rig mud pumps

• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of rigs

• Conduct daily equipment checks and safety tasks

• Participate in training for safe work practices

• Perform all duties efficiently and safely

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

• Three years’ experience working on drilling rigs

• Basic knowledge of pumps and centrifuges required

• Hold a valid Class 5 or Northern Restricted license

• Good communication and independence are vital
