Position: Hydro Power Line Technician Role
Location: North/Western Labrador (Churchill Falls)

In this position, you will apply your Journeyperson Certificate in Operating Line Work along with your one year of relevant experience. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting maintenance on transmission and distribution systems, ensuring safety compliance and environmental accountability. You will work with various methods and tools to perform these vital tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and test electrical lines and equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance on lines and disconnects

• Operate maintenance tools safely and efficiently

• Promote adherence to safety and health programs

• Maintain environmental standards during operations

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyperson Operating Line Worker

• Minimum one year of experience in line duties

• Strong knowledge of safety and operating regulations

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• Focus on safety and teamwork in a diverse environment
