Position: Water Treatment Technician with AFIMAC
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Step into a crucial role with AFIMAC Canada as a Utility/Water Treatment Technician in Alberta. Work 12-hour shifts while benefiting from paid travel and meal allowances during assignments.

AFIMAC is on the lookout for skilled Level III or IV Water Treatment Technicians for temporary positions. This role involves hands-on operation of treatment facilities and close collaboration with team members to ensure optimal water quality. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of treatment processes and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery in water treatment environments

• Diagnose and address treatment issues effectively

• Maintain awareness of turbidity and chlorine conditions

• Read blueprints and technical documents accurately

• Mentorship to technicians in daily tasks

Requirements:

• Certification Level III or IV in Water Treatment

• Proven experience of at least 3 years

• Class 5 or G driver’s license

• Excellent organizational skills

• Physically fit to handle manual tasks up to 50 lbs
