In this role, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll provide essential operational support in the Elk Valley coal mine. You will employ excellent communication skills while working within various trades, and the ability to commute to Sparwood, B.C., is necessary. Successful candidates will thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote safety and environmental compliance on site

• Setup and stabilize cranes for effective operation

• Operate up to 300 ton mobile and hydraulic cranes

• Perform rigging tasks for various job complexities

• Carry out routine maintenance duties, including cleaning

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Mobile Crane Operator Certification

• Preference for Hydraulic 300 ton and Under certification

• Class 5 Driver’s License required;
Class 3 or 1 is a plus
