environment? We are looking for you! OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting high-rise residential

and commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team as a key member on the tools, both mentoring

apprentices and assisting foremen, in order to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.

Please note, we are expanding to Victoria. We are looking for people to join us on Vancouver Island.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Journeyperson you will be responsible for:

Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specifications

Connecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment

Terminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devices

Observing functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement

Testing continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safety

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)

Experience working on high rise and/or commercial new construction projects

Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements

Excellent communication and time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Typical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlines
