In this technician role, you will perform key tasks such as installing, testing, and terminating fiber optic cables. Your expertise with networking equipment and testing tools like OFI and light meters will play a crucial role in delivering reliable services. Located in your home community, you’ll collaborate with clients to provide seamless connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and test fiber optic cables across various settings

• Setup and configure media converters, routers, and switches

• Use testing equipment for optimal performance checks

• Adhere to safety standards while performing tasks

• Engage respectfully with clients and support teams

Requirements:

• Background in telecom installations preferred

• Ability to utilize fiber optic testing equipment

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Readiness to travel for work assignments

• Capacity to work outdoors in various conditions
