Position: Powerline Technician with Safety Focus
Location: Sturgis

Join Forbes Bros. Group as a Journeyman Powerline Technician where safety meets expertise. This role involves key responsibilities in powerline construction and maintenance across North America.

As a Journeyman Lineman, you will use your Red Seal certification to install, inspect, and repair durable distribution systems. Your expertise in safe work practices will ensure proper compliance while you maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving. Engage in hands-on tasks and lead in fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and repair high- and low-voltage distribution lines

• Support setup and operation of pulling equipment

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols

• Participate in Quality Assurance and inspections

• Conduct training for apprentices and new team members

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyman in the powerline industry

• Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1A an asset

• Knowledge of construction principles and safety

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
