Boucher Bros Lumber Ltd. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for their mill site near Nampa, Alberta. The position demands expertise in heavy-duty mobile equipment maintenance and repair.
As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of heavy machinery. A strong commitment to safety is essential, ensuring compliance with company policies and proactive hazard identification. Candidates should be well-versed in diesel engines and computer diagnostic technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and service heavy equipment like loaders and bulldozers

• Diagnose faults using computer testing equipment

• Perform major repairs as needed

• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment

• Report any faulty equipment to management
Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Knowledge of diesel engines and testing technologies

• Ability to work independently

• Good communication skills
