Experienced Machine Operator Position

Location: Cariboo and West Okanagan (100 Mile House)

Dawson Road Maintenance is seeking a skilled Machine Operator in Lillooet, BC, focusing on safety and skilled operation. This permanent role supports our commitment to high production standards.

Reporting to the Road Foreman, your role involves operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. You will maintain safety standards, manage activity logs, and ensure proper equipment care, contributing significantly to our road maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment safely on roadways

• Ensure compliance with daily production schedules

• Maintain work progress reports and logs

• Follow all safety policies diligently

• Care for and maintain heavy machinery effectively

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as an equipment operator

• 2 years in road maintenance or construction

• Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver’s license essential

• Commercial driving experience is an asset

• Knowledge of road construction materials and processes
