As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will assist the Project Team Lead and General Foreman at the Syncrude Aurora site. Your responsibilities include proficient dozer operation, maintenance, and inspections. You will ensure smooth project execution by adhering to safety protocols and using proper PPE. Your expertise in various terrain manipulations will be crucial for this temporary, project-based position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the dozer efficiently

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Adjust blade height and angle as needed

• Execute terrain tasks: grading, sloping, ditching

• Collaborate with ground personnel in close proximity

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid class five driver’s license

• Minimum 3+ years of dozer operation experience

• CSTS and OSSA/BSO/CSO certification

• Proficient in English for communication
