As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at CFT Group, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operation running strong. You’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a diverse fleet from loaders and roll-off trucks to trailers and heavy machinery ensuring every piece of equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to perform.

The pay range for this position is $32-45 per hour depending on skills, experience, and certification(s).

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and loaders
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues with accuracy and efficiency
• Complete both shop-based and field repairs to minimize downtime
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns
• Maintain detailed service records and parts documentation
• Operate safely and follow all company policies and procedures
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in top condition

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment or truck mechanic
• Strong diagnostic skills across diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
