Dawson Road Maintenance seeks Seasonal Operators in Smithers, Carnaby, and Stewart, B.C. Use your Class 1 or 3 license to enhance road safety during the winter season.

This full-time temporary position is perfect for those with experience in road maintenance and snow removal. Reporting to the Road Foreperson, you will engage in effective teamwork aimed at achieving production objectives while maintaining safety. Strong physical effort and effective equipment use are key components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear snow and ice from roadways effectively

• Work collaboratively with team members daily

• Operate heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols

• Maintain logs and complete necessary work reports

• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in road maintenance

• Valid Class 1 preferred or 3 Driver's license mandatory

• Commercial driving experience strongly desired

• Familiarity with road construction processes and materials

• Heavy Equipment Operating Certificate benefits applicants
