YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:  Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for the organization and distribution of tools and materials at the Detour Lake Mine. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Inspects, measures, and replaces tires and wheels on all mobile equipment on the mine site;
Performs inspections of tires and wheel components;
Operates light vehicles in mine to assess reported tire problems on production and auxiliary equipment when necessary;
Operates tire manipulator to change out wheel/tire assemblies;
Maintains records of all equipment, wheels or tires worked on and highlights the nature of the repairs to wheels, tubes, tires, etc. conducts inventory of direct charge tires and accessories;
Checks tire pressures as required to ensure that they are within the specified limits and adjust to improve the equipment’s operational efficiency and tire life;
Maintains good housekeeping and safety practices;
