Hecla Mining Company is seeking Underground Miners for their Keno Hill operation in Yukon. These positions involve operating a variety of underground mining equipment and supporting all aspects of the mining cycle. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, experienced with underground equipment, and committed to working in a remote, team-oriented environment on a 14/14 fly-in fly-out rotation.

• Competitive wages: $29.72 to $40.39 per hour

• Previous underground mining experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating underground equipment for advanced roles
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Valid Yukon blasting certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong safety mindset
• Ability to read mine plans and specifications
• Ability to undertake drilling and blasting activities safely and efficiently
• Qualified to operate various underground equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol, blood lead, and audiogram testing
• Criminal record check
• Clean driver’s abstract

• Mine Rescue Certification and Underground Blasting Certificate
• Specific equipment experience (jumbo, bolter, scoop, haul truck)
