Exciting opportunity for a KC-130J Airframes Mechanic at PCI Federal, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining critical aircraft systems. Ensure flight safety and operational efficiency in a military environment.
In this position at VMGR-252 aboard MCAS Cherry Point, you will engage in hands-on mechanical work, including inspections and system repairs. Your solid grounding in aviation mechanics alongside your ability to communicate effectively will be vital in assuring aircraft integrity. You will mentor other mechanics, share your knowledge, and perform complex repair tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair aircraft systems including landing gear
• Execute inspections per naval aviation manuals
• Utilize OOMA for maintenance documentation
• Train squadron personnel on technical operations
• Conduct maintenance as needed for all systems
Requirements:
• Completed KC-130 Airframes Mechanic Training or have A&P license
• Demonstrated experience in complex maintenance tasks
• Familiarity with NAMP standards
• U.S. citizenship with eligibility for Secret Clearance
• Hold a valid state driver’s license and obtain base access
