Position: Class 1 or 3 Seasonal Equipment Operator

Become a key part of Dawson Road Maintenance as a Seasonal Operator with a Class 1 or 3 license this winter.

Your role will focus on clearing ice and snow, contributing to roadway safety.

This seasonal, full-time position in locations like Lillooet will report to the Road Foreperson. You will leverage your road maintenance experience to collaborate with team members in ensuring operational success. The position may also require some travel across British Columbia, focusing on maintaining safety standards and working collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety clear snow and ice under varied conditions

• Operate heavy equipment effectively and safely

• Report daily activities and equipment status

• Support team efforts to complete tasks efficiently

• Follow instructions from the Supervisor closely

Requirements:

• Two years of experience in road maintenance required

• Must possess a valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers License

• Experience in snow removal techniques an asset

• Familiarity with road construction processes helpful

• Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
