Field Operator

Location: Northern British Columbia (Fort Nelson)

Techmation Electric & Controls  is looking for an experienced  Field Operator  to join for our  Fort St John  branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector. This is a home every night based out of Fort St John. Candidates must live within the Fort St John region to be considered.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years Oil and Gas sour field operating experience is required.

HVP/LVP, pigging and sampling, Meter proving, Scada, Procedure review and writing are an asset

H2S Alive and First Aid certificates are a requirement

Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment

Must be self motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks

Preference will be given to applicants with Ltd company and truck

Applicants must live within the immediate Fort St John area
