Suncor is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Technician with at least two years of post-apprenticeship experience. This position requires expertise with various machinery, including Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment, while maintaining a commitment to safety and reliability. Your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability will play a key role in our operations and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on heavy equipment

• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, engines, and electronics

• Replace major components like engines and transmissions

• Maintain records of technical and preventative maintenance

• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Two years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance

• Valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate or Red Seal

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency in data retrieval for maintenance

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
