Heavy Vehicle Mechanics - CFS Alert - 8/8 Rotation

- Grise Fiord, NU  Nasittuq is seeking Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join their team at CFS Alert, located in the remote Arctic region of Nunavut. Perks & Benefits   Competitive hourly wage: $55.96 - $58.91/hr for 40-hour workweeks
8 weeks on / 8 weeks off fly-in, fly-out rotation
Paid travel from anywhere in Canada, including overnight stays as needed

What You’ll Need   Red Seal qualification in Canada as a mechanic or automotive service technician
Qualified with Motor Vehicle Mechanics 310S (up to 9000kg) and 310T with diesel endorsement
Trained in driving with an attached trailer and safe backing
Eligible for a valid DND 404 Driver Permit
Government of Canada Reliability security clearance
Valid Canadian passport
Pass a medical examination
Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and related equipment
