Position: Full-Time District Mechanic Operator II

The District Mechanic Operator II position offers you the chance to handle both plant and gas line operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Your role will include equipment maintenance, emergency response, and overseeing contractors. You'll also be responsible for reporting and logging operational data, and mentoring apprentices as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair compressors and plant infrastructure

• Operate and inspect gas line systems and infrastructure

• Schedule and coordinate work assignments

• Conduct various tests on natural gas standards

• Mentor and oversee apprentice mechanics

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic or Heavy Duty Technician certification

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Physically fit for job requirements

• Willing to participate in standby and travel
