The Plant
The work is maintenance at a wood post manufacturing facility in Princeton. Princeton is in the Similkameen Valley on Highway 3, between Hope and the Okanagan.
What You'll Do
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a wood post manufacturing facility
Diagnose and repair drive components, including bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, and belts
Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Follow lockout and plant safety procedures, and document the work you complete
What You Bring

Hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing production equipment in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical troubleshooting on drives, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
The ability to read drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics

Why Millwrights Take This Job
One plant, your equipment. You work one facility and learn its equipment inside out, instead of chasing shutdowns from site to site.
Live where you work. A local commute in Princeton, not a long haul to a remote site.
Small‑town BC. Princeton sits where the Similkameen and Tulameen rivers meet, with lakes and the Kettle Valley Rail Trail close to home.

Life insurance plus AD&D with critical illness and cancer coverage
Extended health: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, vision, and paramedical including mental health
Dental coverage, including orthodontic coverage for children
Travel insurance up to $5,000,000 per incident
