Assistant Volleyball Coach

Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Volleyball Coach to begin August 17, 2026

This is an extra duty position.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures - current First Aid/CPR card required.

Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.

Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.

Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic volleyball, coaching techniques, and student supervision.

Required Trainings:

• OSAA and district trainings required prior to starting work:
  Fundamentals of Coaching, Steroid Awareness, Heat Acclimatization, Concussion Training, First Aid/CPR + AED, and Vector Training courses

Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $66 payroll deduction).
