Assistant Boys Soccer Coach

Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach to begin 8/17/2026. This is a non‑district funded (contingent upon fund raised dollars) position.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures — current First Aid/CPR card required.
• Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.
• Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.
• Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

• Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic soccer, coaching techniques, and student supervision.

• OSAA trainings required prior to working with athletes:
  Interscholastic Coaching Course, Concussion Recognition & Management, Heat Illness Prevention, Anabolic Steroids and Performance-Enhancing Substances, and Interrupting and Preventing Discriminatory Acts.
• District trainings required prior to starting work:
  Safe Schools (Vector Training).

Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $66 payroll deduction).
