Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions across the company’s operations environment, including ERP, MES, manufacturing systems, and cloud-based business platforms. This is a hands-on role responsible for building and supporting Power BI dashboards and data models, maintaining and enhancing existing reporting solutions, and improving the accessibility, accuracy, and usability of data across the organization.

The role works across a complex, high-mix electronics manufacturing environment, supporting systems including Epicor ERP, Factory Logix (NPI and MES), shop floor equipment, and cloud-based CRM, quoting, and supply chain platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models as the company’s primary BI platform
  • Build and manage datasets, data transformations, and semantic models to support operational and financial reporting
  • Develop and support Epicor BAQs, dashboards, and SSRS reports
  • Maintain and enhance SQL-based reporting solutions using SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
  • Clean up, standardize, and rationalize existing reports, data sources, and reporting logic
  • Integrate and model data across a broad operational landscape, including:
    • Epicor ERP
    • Factory Logix (NPI and MES)
    • Manufacturing equipment and shop floor systems
    • Cloud-based CRM, quoting, and procurement platforms
  • Support efforts to connect and structure data from SMT and other production equipment to improve visibility into manufacturing performance
  • Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to deliver reporting solutions that support day-to-day decision making
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting outputs
  • Document data models, report definitions, and key data flows
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or data development roles
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (querying, joins, performance tuning)
  • Experience developing reports using SSRS
  • Experience working with ERP data (Epicor strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with MES systems (Factory Logix or similar)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience integrating or working with shop floor / machine data
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building Epicor BAQs and dashboards or similar ERP reporting tools
  • Experience working with SSIS and/or SSAS
  • Experience working in regulated or export-controlled environments (ITAR, etc.)
