CNC Machinist

Job Summary

We are an aerospace component manufacturing company located in Canby, Oregon. This role is for a CNC Machinist working weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) on 12‑hour shifts, covering both night and day schedules.

Salary: $32–$41 per hour. Sign‑on bonus available. Upward mobility and benefits package.

• Machine parts in accordance with current process router and work instructions
• Use dimensional measuring tools including micrometer, calipers, pin gauges, and bore gauges
• Verify part conformance per work instructions and record dimensions on a record sheet
• Set up recurring production parts on 3, 4, and 5‑axis machine centers
• Monitor and adjust cutting tools; replace worn tools and set/reset tool offsets
• Dial in vices and indicate holes for validation or setup
• Set up and prove out new or existing CNC programs on 3, 4, and 5‑axis machine centers
• Review new programs prior to start in CAD/program verification system (a plus)
• Work directly with programming and quality departments to resolve program issues
• Understand shop math skills such as trigonometry, metal‑removal, surface‑speed calculations
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and application of GD&T (a plus)
• Experience with probing and variable assignments (a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of G and M codes for CNC machines

• 2–5 years machining experience
• Advanced ability in shop math skills and blueprint/GD&T reading
• Experience setting up and proving out production parts
• Ability to review part program in CAD system
