Overview
Fast Growing Panel Manufacturing Operation for Semiconductor Cleanroom applications seeks a hands on Production Lead to join its growing team. The company has a 20 + year history of providing wall and ceiling panels for Cleanroom applications and is now under new ownership that is looking to radically grow the business. This is a ground floor opportunity to work for a company that is projected to double in size over the next few years.
Beyond the base salary, this role will also offer a generous bonus program based on meeting production goals. This will be a hands on role, both leading the team, and performing some of the functional work in the manufacturing area. Targeting someone with 5+ years of manufacturing experience along with 2 years of experience working as a Lead or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day production execution, team development and quality performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Production Lead directly supports the successful delivery of panel products meeting quality standards as well as customer requirements. You’ll lead a small but growing team of manufacturing specialists that are cross trained in all areas of the manufacturing and QC process. This role requires the ability to work in a technical shop environment.

- Lead daily production activities.
- Own the standard of work and team adherence to in-house manufacturing processes
- Support and upholds company values and professional culture
- Mentor and develop manufacturing team members through coaching and training
- Manage production schedules and supports delivery commitments
- Ensure quality processes are followed and work is completed to standard
- Coordinate production team through regular check-ins, stand-ups, quality reviews and training
- Track production milestones, resource needs, scope change and issues
- Review BOMs, work instructions and documentation for accuracy and manufacturability
- Participate in problem
-solving - Support customer and vendor communications as needed
- Perform annual performance reviews
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional shop environment
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and manufacturing
- Willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges
- Proactive, dependable, hands-on leadership style;
Must be wiling to actually do the work of the operators on the floor
