Established in 1997, Pacific Architectural Wood Products (PAWP) is a privately held corporation dedicated to providing commercial doors primarily for the tenant improvement market.

Position Summary

The CNC Machine Operator / Industrial Machinery Mechanic will directly operate computer‑controlled tools, machines, or robots to machine or process parts made of metal, wood, or other materials. Responsibilities also include setting up, maintaining, and repairing industrial production and processing machinery.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery.
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Disassemble machinery to remove parts for repairs.
  • Reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear.
  • Record repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Operate newly repaired machinery to verify adequacy of repairs.
  • Record parts or materials used and requisition new parts as necessary.
  • Observe and test operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters or other testing devices.
  • Analyze test results, machine error messages, or operator information to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Study blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
  • Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
  • Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks from an automated calendar system.
  • Attend to and repair equipment relating to “Line‑Down” situations by urgently fixing equipment and reducing downtime as much as possible.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform tasks at machines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Schedule and Location
  • 8‑hour day shift, Monday to Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Job Type: Full‑time

Starting Pay:
Negotiable with experience.
