Job Description

Our client is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and run machines that produce precision parts. This position is a real career opportunity, and you can earn up to $40 as an experienced machine operator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to produce precision parts
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Measure parts and log production data using computer systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Complete daily production and quality control logs
  • Follow SQC practices and control charts to maintain product specifications
  • Perform equipment/part changeovers as skills progress
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Communicate effectively across shifts
  • Occasionally operate forklift to maintain raw material supply
Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude required (hands-on mechanical experience strongly preferred)
  • Machine operator experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
  • Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators)
  • Basic computer skills for production logging and documentation
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment
  • Advanced skills are a plus: CNC programming, lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, cutoff saw experience
