Looking for more than just a paycheck? Time to grow where you're valued? Ace Hardware in Canby, Oregon is hiring a full-time Store Merchandise and Closing Supervisor! This leadership role oversees our dedicated team of associates and ensures everyone does the best they can for our customers. You'll also jump in as needed to support efficient workdays and satisfied shoppers.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leading retail associates in maintaining the sales floor, providing high-quality customer service, and closing the store during the evenings
- Answering employee questions, efficiently delegating responsibilities, and inspiring associates to do their best
- Ensuring team members deliver the Ace Helpful Promise by going the extra mile, providing amazing customer service, and driving revenue through add-on sales
- Monitoring inventory and the sales floor, ensuring all products are forward-facing and in the correct locations
- Ensuring signs are accurate and displays promote our special offerings and seasonal priorities
- Leading closing procedures at the end of the day, including completing closing checklists, balancing tills, and cleaning/organizing/restocking products on the sales floor
- Competitive Pay: starting wage of $17.00 to $18.00/hour

Schedule:

- At least 1 year of retail experience
- Proven leadership and customer service skills
- Ability to work evening and closing shifts
While not required, our ideal Store Merchandise and Closing Supervisor has some supervisory experience in a retail environment, has strong delegation and direction skills, and can ensure team members follow all merchandising and customer service standards.
