Job Title: Accounting & HR Manager
Location:
On Site in Canfield, OH
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000

Company Overview:

Our client is a long-established, family-owned structural steel fabrication company specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The organization employs approximately 20 team members and has experienced significant growth in recent years.

This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety in their work and thrives in a small-business environment where they can make a meaningful impact.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and account reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
  • Support annual financial reviews and audits
  • Manage accounting records using accounting software
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee communications
  • Support HR compliance and recordkeeping requirements
  • Coordinate with external HR partners regarding HRIS administration, recruiting, and other HR initiatives
  • Provide day-to-day employee support and administrative assistance

Qualifications of the Accounting & HR Manager:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration required
  • Experience supporting HR functions preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
