Position: Tax Manager (Hybrid)
Job Overview
Tax Manager – Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year – Hybrid work arrangement. We are a top 50 professional services firm specializing in accounting, tax, and consulting services.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the tax planning, preparation, and filing processes for C-corps, S-corps, and high net‑worth individuals.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Conduct detailed tax research to identify and mitigate tax risks and optimize tax strategies.Provide tax advisory services to clients and help them understand the tax implications of their business decisions.Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, and assist clients with tax audits and disputes.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, updating clients and team members as needed.Collaborate with other team members to achieve business goals and contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or Certified Tax Coach (CTC) designation preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax manager role or a similar role within finance industry.In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax planning, preparation, compliance, and research.Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients including C-corps, S-corps, and high net‑worth individuals.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy.Strong commitment to ethical standards and integrity.Benefits
