MIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder / Fabricator to join our production team on Canfield. In this role, you will manufacture heavy-duty material handling carts, dollies, and custom orders. You will work from blueprints and layout designs to cut, position, align, and weld parts together using MIG and TIG welding processes. This is a day shift position 7:30am to 4pm.

Resumes required. Pay is $19-$20.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.

• Fit and fabricate custom components from raw materials.

• Operate shop equipment
safely, including grinders, saws, shears, and drill presses.

• Inspect finished welds and products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.

Qualifications & Skills

•

Experience:

2+ years of professional welding experience (manufacturing or job-shop environment preferred).

• Technical

Skills:

Strong proficiency in MIG welding; TIG experience is a major plus.

• Blueprints:
Ability to read and execute layouts from blueprints and shop drawings.

• Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle manual shop labor.

• Attributes:
Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
