Job Details DescriptionSUMMARY:
The Content Creator/Copywriter will be responsible for developing compelling, strategic, and brand-consistent content that supports the bank's marketing, communications, and community engagement initiatives. Responsibilities will include: serving as the primary writer for both internal and external communications, improving brand awareness and positioning; and responsible for writing and editing of Capital Ideas magazine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and write engaging digital content for blogs, website pages, email campaigns, social media, digital ads and customer education materials
- Write professional communication documents such as press releases, formal notices, emails, etc.
- Proofread digital and hard copy documents/articles/presentations for accuracy and consistency. Make corrections as needed
- Assist in the writing and editing of the Company's magazine Capital Ideas
- Write and edit press releases for products, services and other brand communications as needed
- Draft and edit internal communications including employee memos, leadership updates, announcements, presentations and organizational communications
- Assist in the design of all digital marketing campaigns in support of corporate vision and goals
- Conduct competitive analyses on a regular basis for all existing and potential company market areas
- Assist in the standardization and execution of the Farmers' Brand across all channels
- Develop quantitative and qualitative information used in making marketing decisions as it pertains to strategic planning for the company
- Assist with internal corporate functions (meetings, lunches, etc.) as needed
- Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
- Complete all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing required
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a digital marketing role
- Proficient writing, proofreading and editing skills required
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite of software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven ability to do extensive internet research and internet navigation
- Must be highly detail-oriented
Intermediate
EducationRequiredBachelors or better in Marketing or related field.
PreferredBachelors or better in English or related field.
