Temporary Senior Accountant

We are seeking a temporary Senior Accountant with extensive experience in A/P and Accounting procedures.

The Senior Accountant will also be expected to be able to perform all the company accounting records and systems, including payroll, accounts payable, and daily cash control. Additional responsibilities include reporting to and assisting the Financial Controller with reports and account reconciliations.

Education Practical

Experience:

4+ years accounting experience demonstrating an increase in responsibility desired, or equivalent 2-4 year degree

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, report preparation, payroll, accounts receivables and payable, Quick Books.

• Main responsibility is A/P.
• Must have strong knowledge and education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent 4+ year’s work experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Process payments.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Generate reports to assist with month-end procedures.
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions, reconciliations and all reports.
• Prepare payroll report and records when necessary.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Assist with daily cash work and reporting as required.
• Prepare A/R invoices as required and ensure payments are received.
• Maintain ATM machine.
• Able to work a 40-hour work week on-site.
