Registered Nurse

Canon Lodge Care Center seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for our night shift in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will provide resident-centered care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and care planning for long-term and short-stay residents. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support rehab goals and quality of life, supervise CNAs, and ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to long-term care and rehab residents during night shift
• Complete thorough assessments and ongoing monitoring of residents' conditions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Develop, review, and update individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care, assessments, and interventions in EHR according to facility and regulatory standards
• Respond to changes in resident status and coordinate with physicians and families as needed
• Supervise and support CNAs and other care staff on the unit
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in all care activities
• Provide resident- and family-centered communication and emotional support
• Participate in shift handoffs, quality initiatives, and staff education as needed
