As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Warehouse in Commerce City, CO, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when needed.

$21.70 / Hour

Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
  You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program:
  In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next – it’s all up to you.

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document daily activity, access events, and unusual conditions in required logs and reports, following established security‑related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including entrances, docks, parking areas, and trailer yards.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
