You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.

Position Type:

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

• Wed 07:45 AM – 05:00 PM
• Thur 07:45 AM – 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public‑facing spaces, verifying access credentials when required and assisting with the enforcement of site rules and government facility policies.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and communicating security‑related information with team members and/or local responders when needed.

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
