Technician, Facility Services – General Maintenance

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete maintenance jobs
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairs according to established maintenance schedules and guidelines
• Work under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area; or 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI within the last five years
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
• Preferred: completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program
• Preferred: experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• Preferred: related trade license in the city and/or state where the job is located
• Preferred: experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Preferred: experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Demonstrates expertise in maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including plumbing and electrical systems, while adhering to safety protocols and maintenance schedules. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and work order management systems to efficiently complete tasks.
