Manufacturing Engineer - Design

• Develop manufacturing solutions using 3D modeling software to create customer geometry, tooling, and fixturing designs.
• Design fixtures, gages, and tooling required for production and inspection.
• Review product designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing specifications.
• Support customer RFQs with technical expertise and manufacturability assessments.
• Partner with production teams to develop cost-effective tooling and fixturing solutions that meet project timelines.
• Create operation drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Develop manufacturing sequences and maintain records within the MIS system.
• Lead and coordinate technical activities to resolve design, testing, and process-related challenges.
• Evaluate and approve engineering changes, specifications, and drawing releases.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret complex technical specifications, drawings, and engineering data.
• Experience with CREO CAD preferred.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and complex manufacturing requirements.
• ANSYS FEA software experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, forging, and/or manufacturing processes is a plus.
