Senior Project Manager – Project Operations (Canonsburg, PA)

You will manage various projects that will contribute to delivering project excellence.

• Managing large, complex turnkey jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance
• Managing the development of project plans in advance of project activity, ensuring effective execution by the Project Team and monitoring the project’s progress to ensure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan
• Supervising and directing the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, startup, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects
• Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project and upon project completion
• Bringing each project to a successful conclusion while learning and developing your career

• 6+ years’ experience in technical execution of projects for heavy industry;
  Metals industry experience is preferred.
• Understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects.
• Construction/site management experience of large turnkey projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Self-starter with experience in meeting project deliverables, working in a matrix team environment where everyone pulls together.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 20% and internationally up to 10%, including presence at project sites during critical installation, commissioning, or outage phases.
