Technical Scrum Master; Local To PA); USC)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master to lead Agile execution across multidisciplinary engineering teams within a federal defense environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong Scrum Master experience, a technical understanding of hardware, firmware, and software engineering processes, and the ability to drive Agile practices, improve team performance, and coordinate with program and engineering leadership.

• Lead Agile execution across complex, multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
• Partner with program managers and engineering leadership to align priorities and remove roadblocks.
• Develop and maintain project plans, metrics, dashboards, and progress reports.
• Track team performance, project milestones, cost, and schedule.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
• Promote Agile best practices in a mission-critical defense environment.
• Build consensus among stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
• Support engineering design task planning and cost/schedule estimation.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Scrum/Agile experience (BS requirement).
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead supporting technical engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of hardware, firmware, and software engineering processes.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) preferred.
• Experience developing project metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience preparing cost and schedule estimates for engineering design tasks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

• Previous experience in federal or DoD defense contracting environments.
• Experience implementing Agile practices and processes in defense programs.
• SAFe, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience working with engineering and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ability to drive stakeholder consensus and cross-functional alignment.
